About Us
With over 17 years experience in office-based and in-hospital medical care, Dr. Harris is now opening a medical practice in Jasper and accepting new patients from age twelve to adulthood. Dr. Harris completed his medical school training at the University of South Florida, Tampa in 1993 and completed his post-graduate residency training at the University of Florida, Jacksonville program in 1996. He owned a successful small group practice in Sarasota, Florida for 10 years. In 1007, now empty-nesters, Dr. and Mrs. Harris decided to relocate to the beautiful North Georgia area where they had visited a mountain cabin retreat for years. For the last three years, Dr. Harris worked locally as a hospital based physician. He enjoys the challenges and satisfaction of treating and healing serious illnesses. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.

I, along with my RN/office manager wife Traci, are committed to serving Jasper and the surrounding communities with high quality care for your primary medical needs. You will be seen by me both in the office and the local hospital. We will strive to make your office/MD encounters as much of a pleasant and convenient experience as possible, with low waiting times, a comfortable environment and friendly professional staff. I will also endeavor to minimize your cost with medications when feasible while maximizing their effectiveness. I will do my very best to help you live a longer healthier life.
